Splice
Guillermo Del Toro is coming with a new shocking SciFi/Horror production: Splice.
Clive (Adrien Brody) and Elsa (Sarah Polley) are two rebellious genetic scientists. They are specialized in splicing DNA from both humans and animals. Their main mission is to create a new hybrid for medical benefits, but soon, they start to run their own experiments to create a new hybrid. From new started experiments a new life form is born: Dren. Dren rapidly develops, physically and intellectually, from an infant to an beautiful and dangerous human-chimera.
“Splice” is directed by Vincenzo Natali who also directed Cube movie and produced by Steven Hoban. First time, the screenplay, was a sequel for Cube movie, but the budget was not enough for that.
The movie will be released in US on 4 June 2010.
