Brick Lane is a story of love and cultural differences. Nazneen (Tannishtha Chatterjee), a seventeen year old Bangaladeshi girl, is leaving behind her beloved sister and home for an arranged marriage in London. Shes starts a new life in a Brick Lake (London Borough of Tower Hamlets, in the East End of London) doing her duty in family for her husband, Chanu (Satish Kaushik) a middle age man with old ideas. After some years we see her with 2 children and with a very boring life. Shes life is starting change when Karim(Christopher Simpson) is bursting in her life.
