Dragonball Evolution

I think this title is self explanatory and needs no further introduction than that it is the movie based on the famous anime series DragonBall. Director James Wong undertook the challenge to bring this title to the big screen and by doing so he created one of the worst movies I ever saw for 2009. I cannot believe that there still can make movies like this one; it is more than awfully its utter failure. The lines between characters are bad thought out, bad acted and bad directed in such a manner that by the first half of the movie you will probably go out of the theater and ask for your money back. The story starts with Goku and end with him also as the main character, he is being trained by his grandfather Grandpa Gohan starting off with a fight scene that is very bad played out and the special effects very outdated and give you a sour taste from the beginning.

Dragonball Evolution

Then as the action unwinds you find the story and the plot: mankind is under threat again and the only way to stop the thread called Lord Piccolo is to gather 7 dragon orbs and unite them so that the bearer can be granted 1 wish, by doing so banishing the evil from earth. I can tell you from now if you have any interest in this movie you will undoubtedly be disappointed and will never ever make this mistake of seeing any sequel of this movie. Honestly I do not have any more words to add to this movie because it was a very big disappointment but if you’re willing to take a risk or just want see how bad some movies still can be in the year 2009 go ahead and waste 2 hours of your life.
